About the course

This intensive 4-day course on Voyage Chartering Practice provides participants with a comprehensive understanding of the practical and legal aspects of voyage chartering.

Led by two industry experts, the program delves into the details of charter parties, covering essential legal principles, operational challenges and real-world applications. 

Course Director

Our Course Director is a member of the British Maritime Law Association and British Insurance Law Association. He is the author and editor of many publications and of an extensive list of journal articles published in elite journals such as Lloyd’s Maritime and Commercial Law Quarterly, Journal of Business Law, Cambridge Law Journal etc. He currently teaches Admiralty Law, Oil and Gas Law and Marine Insurance on the LLM programme and also is the Head of the Department of Postgraduate Legal Studies. 

Course Expert

The Course Expert is a member of the Institute of International Shipping and Trade Law. He is a British legal academic and writer who is a professor of law, specialising in commercial law and common law. He is the author and co-author of books on torts, damages and maritime law, and of numerous articles and chapters on aspects of common law, commercial law and restitution.
